Abbey Braun, LMHC
Abbey Braun graduated from the University at Buffalo with a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and has been working with older adolescents and adults for 3+ years now. She has experience working with individuals, families, and couples doing individual and/or group therapy work. As your therapist, she strives to be the passenger that helps to guide you as the driver on your own journey towards improved self-awareness and overall health.
Abbey utilizes a trauma-informed approach with every patient and incorporates different aspects of dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, EMDR, and motivational interviewing. She entered the field because she knows firsthand that life can be extremely hard and also absolutely worth living once certain kinks are worked through. She loves seeing people become better versions of themselves and develop their own life worth living, whatever that may be. When you’re ready to take the plunge for yourself, she will be ready and here for you.
