Jess Landen graduated with her master’s degree from the University of Buffalo and has 3+ years of experience in group and individual sessions in an outpatient setting. Her passion lies with women’s issues, self-compassion, perinatal/postpartum and identity exploration.
Jess enjoys customizing treatment for her patients by selecting interventions from dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, self-compassion, communication skills and identity exploration approaches. She decided to become a counselor after a life full of change and chaos, and wanted to be sure others had the support to navigate these same events and others. As a practitioner, the goal is to assist you in your journey to come into your own and feel comfortable in who you are and build a life worth living.
