Alexis is the Intake Coordinator at WNY Psychiatry & Counseling Associates and plays an important role in helping new patients connect with care. She is currently pursuing an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) at D’Youville University and brings a strong background in healthcare and patient support.

 

Prior to joining the practice, Alexis worked as both a medical assistant and medical scribe in outpatient neurology and dermatology settings. In these roles, she assisted with patient intake, clinical documentation, reviewing medical histories, and coordinating care with providers.

Through her healthcare experience, Alexis has developed strong communication and organizational skills and understands the importance of helping patients feel heard, respected, and comfortable when seeking care. She strives to make the intake and scheduling process as smooth and welcoming as possible for individuals seeking support.
