In addition, she provides support to caregivers, helping them manage stress, burnout, and the complex emotions that often accompany caregiving roles.
Her clinical approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Lisa is also trained in EMDR and works with individuals to process trauma and reduce symptoms of PTSD.
Lisa holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from St. Bonaventure University and an Advanced Certificate in Mental Health Counseling from the University at Buffalo.
Lisa understands that entering therapy is an important and often difficult first step. She is committed to providing a safe, supportive space where clients can process their experiences, build effective coping strategies, and move toward a greater sense of well-being and quality of life.
