Rachel Martin, LMHC

Rachel Martin is a compassionate mental health counselor dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and achieve meaningful personal growth. She believes that mental health is a vital component of overall well-being and is passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

Born and raised in Bradford, Pennsylvania, Rachel moved to Buffalo in 2019 and earned her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Canisius University in 2021. She has experience working with adolescents and adults in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Rachel takes a person-centered approach to therapy and incorporates evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT). She has also recently completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to further support clients working through trauma and other difficult life experiences.

Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys walking her dogs, spending time with her family, and reading all types of books. She considers it a privilege to help individuals on their journey toward healing, growth, and improved mental wellness.
